named one of the Fifty Influential Minorities in Business by
Minority Business and Professionals Network, Inc.(MBPN)
This award honors minority men and women across the nation who have
been making headlines and making a difference in their fields. The
award winners are individuals who share a commitment to business
growth, professional excellence and to the community and people who
are shaping the economic future.
Jackson received her award at a black-tie gala hosted by MBPN in
Washington, D.C. The gala's theme this year was "Celebrating
Entrepreneurship and Success." The 50 honorees will also be profiled
in a special edition of Minority Enterprise Advocate Magazine.
MBPN specializes in assisting women and minority-owned businesses by
initiating, encouraging and promoting the availability of
information and service programs to advance the development of their
businesses in both the public and private sectors.
